In the words of Douglas Adams, author of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy,

This blog serves as a journal for my path from armchair astronomer to a professional, but the vast mega-hugeness of the cosmos and everything within is the real star here.
My current telescope is a 6-inch reflector with Dobsonian mount. I won’t be finding any new exoplanets with it, but it’s great for deep sky objects.
